Ingredients
1 1/2 C. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. sugar
3 T. cocoa powder
1 T. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1 C. water
Directions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, soda, salt, sugar and cocoa. Add the remaining ingredients and beat together for 1 minute. Pour into a prepared (greased and floured) 8 x 8 pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 - 35 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes then turn out on a cooling rack to cool.
White Chocolate Ganache
1/4 C. whipping cream
3 oz. white chocolate chips
In a small pot bring the cream to a boil. Turn off the heat and add in the chips and allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes. Stir to combine and thicken. Allow to slightly cool and pour over the cake, spreading around to coat the top.
